SPC Stages
The IYREF Science Project Competition 2026 consists of three stages: Abstract Submission, Full Paper & Documentation, and Exhibition. Project types include Research, Prototype, or Software/System. Outputs include paper, poster, presentation, and prototype/demo (if any).
Stage 1
Abstract Submission
Teams submit an abstract outlining their project background, methodology, and objectives. Open to active SMA/MA/SMK students (Grade 10-11) across Indonesia, in teams of 2-3 from the same school. Registration is free for this preliminary stage.
Stage 2
Full Paper & Documentation
Qualified teams submit a detailed full paper covering their research findings, analysis, and conclusions. A Coaching Clinic will be provided to help participants strengthen their work. Re-registration fee of IDR 179,000 applies at this stage.
Stage 3
Presentation & Exhibition
Finalists present their projects including an exhibition, presentation, and Q&A session with judges consisting of academics and science practitioners. This is held at the Grand Summit.
